Sure thing.

I have not studied this topic a great deal, so allow me an elementary question. If what you believe is true, why should anyone, from the disciples to Billy Graham, bother with evangelism? And truly, I see nothing wrong with "fear" changing someone's heart toward what they believe and accept, which then impacts the way they live and treat others while they are here. I believe that man's nature is just too evil for the "good" in them to dictate their actions. A little fear and guilt make for a much nicer population. If everyone completely believed that the Cross enabled all mankind to get in Heaven completely separate from any action or acceptance or change of attitude on their part, do you really think the world would be a nice place to live? The entire Bible, which is God's words, is filled with instructions on behavior, attitudes, thinking, actions. If everyone actually GOES based on NOTHING they have to think or do, rather than GOING, not BECAUSE of anything they do but at least ACCEPTANCE of a GIFT, then all these pages of advice seem wasted on the masses and only written for the VERY select few who will take the time and intellect to study, read, and put them into practice. When Jesus hung between the two thieves, He did not say to the one who asked to be remembered, "You and the guy on the other side of me will be with me in paradise."

I remain,
