What goes around, comes around, eh? Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have been screeching about a full investigation of the matter. They'd better beware – when all the facts are out, they'll learn that it was their dog that died.

The Dog Died What a fine article on this situation, Andrew...I will have to pay more attention to Phil Brennan. The average person out here in this country doesn't know the difference between an e-mail and an Instant Message.... And there-in lies the problem. The only way I know how to save an IM is cut and paste it and send it to myself as an email.... The main media is trying to portray this mess as emails....BIG difference, and that difference leads to all sorts of questions... Foley himself should have absolutely known better than to do anything of the sort....but then, so should have quite a few others before him known better. If the people who had done such things AND much worse, and no one cared, what would make him or anyone else think it was such a big deal to write emails, and Instant Messages....??? But someone else (or a whole group of someone elses,) having these Instant Messages that aren't easy to come by....and keeping them for over 3 years....IS REALLY A BIG PROBLEM! Hopefully the FBI can get to the bottom of this... Keep in mind the fact that the e-mail in question – the only one Hastert knew about – was completely devoid of any sexual innuendo. Yet the GOP leadership is being charged with ignoring those sexually explicit instant messages (IMs) they knew nothing about. But somebody knew about those 2003 IMs and failed to alert the House leadership, thereby in effect covering up for Foley until they could be used to damage the Republicans just before a key election where control of Congress hangs in the balance. If there were crimes committed here, Foley is not the only accused criminal. The Democrats or their allies who kept mum about the IMs are crooked as corkscrews. After all, they permitted Foley to go unexposed and unpunished for a long, long time. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have been screeching about a full investigation of the matter.
