Well, GOP deserves to lose control of Congress, so I have mixed feeling about the whole situation. (Still voting straight Republican ticket, of course. I never miss.)

Perfect logic...

>If he was a Democrat, I imagine there would be rallying to his defense by the party and media.

Bullshit, Joe. You have quite an imagination.

>He would probably stay on the job, maybe would agree to some counseling. The reason is that the Democrat elite does not believe this behavior is objectionable.

Yeah, whatever...

The dishonest rightwing will not take Foleygate seriously.
They are not taking responsibility. Instead, they are resorting to outrageous deflecting tricks like actually saying that Foley should or is a democrat (what?),. or that democrats leaked the emails (sorry, it was a Repub), or that democrats don't care about pedophiles (excuse me? tell that to all the liberal crusaders for childrens rights) or that somehow this has nothing to do with the GOP leadership.

These are all LIES put out by a very dishonest and desperate RNC.

In fact, there are more shoes to drop in Foleygate. Foley was not the only one, and some of his closet case peers and queers are also high up in the White House. Plus, Hastert may be personally involved. The old boy's wrestling coach Denny is rumored to have two gay roommates in DC while he leaves the wife back in Illinois.

Per usual, you are confused.......going by the comments Republicans are making on tv and on the web,

I don't watch TV.

its you all who dislike Foley.........actually, I think "hate" or "despise" might be better words to describe the feelings coming from GOPers during this busy week.

If he was a Democrat, I imagine there would be rallying to his defense by the party and media. He would probably stay on the job, maybe would agree to some counseling. The reason is that the Democrat elite does not believe this behavior is objectionable. Republicans don't like that behaviour, so he is gone.

You're funny.

Well, GOP deserves to lose control of Congress, so I have mixed feeling about the whole situation. (Still voting straight Republican ticket, of course. I never miss.)

Glad to see you put your party before your country. Doesn't surprise me one iota.
