The GOP doesn't get it. Foleygate is a big deal, and the coverup (which was just proven) is an even bigger deal. It doesn't matter who in the past had sex scandals. This is a new one, it's different and Hastert and company let it happen after being warned. This scandal also comes on top of dozens of other huge corruption scandals within the GOP, plus the Macaca Allen racist scandal. So the obvious impression is that the entire GOP rightwing is corrupt and unethical. Very hard to argue otherwise, and very hard to stomach the dishonest denials, spin and deflections of Hannity, Limbaugh and company.
