I guess that's why Hastert kept Foley on as the chairman of the Commitee for Missing and Exploited Children for a year after learning he was chasing 16 year old male Pages? That must be why everyone on the Page Program Oversight Committee EXCEPT the Democrat was warned to "keep an eye" on Foley? They wanted to keep Foley under wraps until AFTER mid-terms. Power is the ONLY factor the Repugnicans care about.

AP just confirmed Hastert covered up Foley's emails after being notified about them two years ago. You should retract your lie that the GOP is trying to protect children. That's totally false. They did just the opposite. ABC has also leaked out that two more GOP congressmen may be involved as abusers. That's a fact not spin. The RNC is putting out lies that democrats leaked this before the eldctions. That's not true. Democrats did not leak anything. The leak came from a GOP Louisiana congressman's staffer. Democrats actually don't have anything to do with this scandal except that Melanie SLoan found out about it and refered it to the FBI (and they did nothing). Sure Dems will use it, just as the GOP tried to make Monica Lewinsky the only issue in 1998-2000 (very dishonestly I might add), but this is a GOP rightewing issue all the way. They were in charge and they let a known predator hit on teenaged boys and be the head of the subcommittee protecting children from sexual predators. That's like putting Count Dracula in charge of the Red Cross blood supply.
