Amazing that you cannot accept that Harper was acting on principle, that casualties on both sides needed to be acknowledged. Harper never wanted a resolution emphasizing Israeli casualties, he just didn't want one ONLY mentioning Lebanese/Hizbollah ones. The reason that Israeli casualties were so low is that they had built shelters because of the ever present threat of Hizbollah rockets. Hizbollah rockets were fired before Israel made its move, so the first casualties were Israeli.
