That is probably acurate in view of the fact that the government-compliant media has, over the years, been dumbing down the American public.

In fact, the only TV station where I had seen a detailed program on OBL prior to 9/11 was PBS. The others (including Fakes News) just brushed him and his folks aside as a bunch of fools running, rolling and crawling under barbed wire fences in some remote desert on some other planet.

"No, 911 was not a shock to Bush and his Neocons! Nor was it a shock to the Dems."

I remember it differently. For your statement to have merit, there would need to have been collusion among the Clinton and Bush Admins conspiring toward this event, or conspiring to ignore the potential of such an event. I simply think that is beyond the wildest of conspiracy theories.

There is no doubt it was known that OBL had us down as his number one target. That was well covered in the media. So, it was not a shock to find him or people of his ilk backing the event. There is a huge stretch between our awareness of that and saying the 911 event was not shocking.
