That's true Pat,

And one of the reasons was they had outlets for their music.. Independent radio stations scattered across the country.. Most stations were Mom and Pops.. Not big corporate entities like now, that won't play that type of music.. I read years ago that music was a big help to end the Vietnam War.. One of the main reasons, plus the draft, of course, imo..

But now with big corporate "Clear Channel type" companies owning most of the air waves, times have changed.. They just won't give new, up and coming bands with protest music, air time.. Clinton signing the bill to deregulate the air waves, was one BIG blunder, if that's what it was..<g,ng>..
