Yes, George should immediately stop giving aid to his enemies, stop giving foreign aid to countries which oppose his policies, and stop interfering in Muslim countries. At the same time, he should increase aid to Israel, and ban all french and lebanese products or french and lebanese visits to the US until the ceasefire conditions are met.

BTW, Karl Marx once said that religion is the opiate of the masses.

Not only is religion the opiate of the masses, it has been enslaving the minds of the masses. A common tactic used by religionists is to foist guilt upon the unsuspecting followers.

Well, so much for that.

Although Bush has claimed he is a born-again Christian, I very much doubt he is indeed such. I believe he made his claim for political expedience. To be sure, he has the support of the Fundamentalist Christians and other firm believers in the Bible ----- folks that believe in the inevitable Battle of Armegeddon where the forces of evil will be subdued. Without a doubt, in the consciousness of many a Bible believer, Bush and Christians in general represent good folks whereas the Moslems represent the bad. And Pat Robertson, a Fundamentalist preacher, believes that God chose Bush to be president and Bush himself believes God has made him president. Result: his policies are all faith-based. No wonder he keeps on insisting that he will stay the course on Iraq no matter what happens. See how faith can override reason and common sense?
