Unless those customers are getting fat raises, it's deflationary for everything else they thought they would buy.

If it causes businesses to go out of business, yes
If it causes loss of jobs, yes
It it causes or contibutes to a recession, yes

Price hikes have next to nothing to do with prices as a CAUSE of inflation
