That's a beauty! The bike I had my eye on was the Honda Gold Wing. My son had one several years ago. A solid, quiet ride. I originally thought I wanted a Harley, but every one of them I know about are just too damned noisy. I can't see any justification for a machine that size to make that much obnoxious noise. But, that's just me! Crabby in my old age.

Oh that is so sleek!!

Years ago I borrowed younger sons bike with permission. A small bike, I rode it around my Mom's five acres on low speed. There was a long winding path to the road and I decided to try that. I stopped the bike near the exit and it was too heavy for me to turn around. It slid into a ditch and I couldn't get the darn thing out. Two soldiers were walking down the road (near Fort Bragg) and stopped to pull it out for me and turn it around. I took it back to the old stable where it was stored and said goodbye to it :) I am sure they were shaking their heads as they walked on and laughing. I had a great time, but I need more strength or a much lighter bike.

Every now and then I mention getting two for us to husband, (as toys to just ride around the area - hehe as I would not want to ride behind someone as you see these brave women do on the highways.... Do you know what even a small monster costs... ah well... better to be in the Honda driving ;)
