Why will sweet oil increase relative to sour/heavy? Saudi/Iraqi/Iranian oils are sour and they are the ones with the greatest reserve life. Venezuela and Canada have huge relatively untapped reserves of heavy and super heavy oils.

VLO website: indeed it's pretty rare to find a company that provides as much info about its fundamentals in its web site. I guess they can afford to.

2/3 of the SPR is heavy/sour. What is peak heavy/sour refining capacity and who (besides VLO) has it?
