Hi dp, I just ran across it yesterday. It looks like software that could be added to your cell phone, an RF-capable PDA, or similar device - like a Java game - and it would communicate with antennas/transceivers down in the mine and a master unit connected to the mine's back office server. That would certainly speed up finding trapped miners like the ones in West Virigina a while back and probably save a lot of lives. The VOIP capability and standard cell phone voice capabilities would be real handy, also. More reading required.............. John :-) .
