What's the difference between submitting a copy to the Post Office and the voter's registration office?

You're using the certificate of naturalization for the same purposes that a natural born citizen uses their birth certificate.

In my family, the birth certificates, the social security cards, and the marriage license are all in a file kept handy because they're called for often, as we all go through changes in life.

I don't even think about being offended because some agency asks for my birth certificate. In fact, mine is a little plastic card, and it's been used so many times it's cracked. I need to think about getting a new one.
