I don't think his Repugnican voters will agree with you. I'm sure they feel decieved and betrayed, and more than a little bit stupid. Repugnicans don't ELECT out gays, or any gays, KNOWINGLY


When I said no one.....I meant no one on this thread.

I think the anger will be directed not only at Foley, but all those who are coming out now and saying, "oh, we all KNEW he was gay, but..". The people who voted for Foley will be asking WHY these people enabled Foley's deception about his sexuality. A lot of them are the bible-thumping Christian "value voters" who believe being gay is a sin and a crime, and would NEVER have voted for Foley had they known that fact.

Well it is surprising to me that this scandal has 'legs'. And Hastert is becoming fairly pathetic trying to blame the Dems for his problems.
