What difference does it make whether oil is abiotic, came from dinosaurs, or was left by space aliens?

It does not change the fact that all fields, to date, have followed the pattern of Hubert's peak. If they are being recharged by abiotic oil it is not happening at a rate fast enough to alter the pattern of peak and decline.

Abiotic oil or not, it appears we are at or approaching a global peak in oil production.

Let's get on with figuring out how to respond to that challenge.
