Unfortunately, I don't take the time to post links or references to daily news quips that pop up on yahoo which is why I like this thread so far. It seems the thread is based more on current daily events than rants about bush bashing from all the lefties on fadg. That fued was done for me a long time ago. Thank God Hawk was around for moral support, good intel, and an amazing base of history and insight.

I feel that the war theme is nearly over as the terrorists have lost all support from the moderates. Finally they see the flashing dollar signs fading fast as oil prices erode and realize they can't intimidate their global oil customers. Too many Russian, Canadian, Mexican, and other oil producing nations are competing for reserves now.

I have staged my long vigil for the war against terrorists. Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel is pretty clear. It's still kind of hazy for the liberals that are dead set against violence and any form of violence to protect this country. However, I put everyone on ignore that bothered me and tried to focus on the fact that we are helping people in Iraq and Afghanistan discover freedom for the first time. They have been duped by some very beguiling fundamentalists that looked like freedom fighters. In reality, they were armed rebels that used their power and intimidation to destroy traditional ways of life for Shiites and Sunnis in Iraq. They actively tried to campaign for the use of violence and jihad against Iraqi police supported by the US military.

During this whole time, the press kept telling the American people that Bush was misleading them about the war in Iraq. How is that humanly possible? What person listening to Bush was thinking that the US had any ulterior motives in helping the Iraqis except for conspiracy thinkers like Michael Moore or Bob Woodward. They are making millions off their movies and books. I'm glad they sold their souls of our soldiers for a few million bucks.

During the entire war in Iraq, the mission of the US was to stop the violence against the Muslims in Iraq. Why else were we there, except to kill the terrorists that were waging war against the people of Iraq? Oh yeah, someone suggested that Iraq was going to give us all their oil fields. All the libs thought this war was only about big oil.

Meanwhile, Shiites from Iran, Sunnis from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or Syria - all sorts of insurgents flooded the country so they could make financial contributions to the war against the US and martyr themselves at the same time. They were all coked up on the Holy War against the Zionists - they really thought they were going to kill all the Jews and Christians. The only people they ended up killing were thousands of Iraqi Shiites, who turned against the Iraqi Sunnis as the militias played out their war games. All of the violence now is just a bunch of punks killing innocent people. Maurice calls them chimps with limited dna - works for me.

I can't believe the circle of killing has gone on for this long in Iraq. You look at the Lebanese giving up after 34 days of bullshit and saying enough is enough. There is no reports of Muslims killing Muslims in any other part of the ME, with the exception of Afghanistan. The Taliban has resumed it's campaign of intimidation against the people of Afghanistan. Karzai seems to completely appreciate the support the US is providing. What's the alternative, ignore the situation like the one in Sudan and let the entire region become a refugee camp?

It is utterly amazing that the World War on Terrorism is ending with so few people taking notice. Quite the obvious, as reporters continue to write books against the President suggesting it's all one big conspiracy. Well, I've enjoyed the rants today, not to mention the fact that there are plenty of great people on the thread.
