The anti American left relentlessly claim that the approach of helping other countries secure themselves against imperialist islam is the wrong approach. They prefer treating the threat from terrorists as a police problem rather than as a war problem. I have seen thousands of criticisms of President Bush's approach. I have never seen a single critic who justifies how their idea of treating the problem as a police enforcement problem is more effective, or how it will solve the problem, much less solve it sooner. How are the police going to pre-emptively disarm terrorists in Gaza or Kandihar? etc.
