wasn't this company the 'droids favorite about six months or so ago?

It was certainly an AMD darling. Somehow Intel has pulled the wool over their eyes and convinced them to release a 80X Quad core system. Another evil act by the evil empire. They chose Intel Quad Core over AMD's because of threats and intimidation and... oh.. wait. AMD doesn't have anything to compete does it...
