I was informed on another board that John Kerry recently made an appearance in support of the Democrat candidate in Foley's Palm Beach district. Kerry's wardrobe selection was not appreciated by the former Foley constituents who are currently working for his Republican replacement:

>>Foley's name must remain on the ballot (even in this age of touch screens) due to an archaic FL law. Legislature will abandon this law in next session. The Palm Beach County Board of Elections will, however, be permitted to insert a notation next to Foley's name that voting for Foley is a vote for his replacement. Negron is a superb candidate, and we're throwing everything we have to him (lots of $ and feet in the street). Voters have always known Foley was a homosexual, and that was fine with them (isn't that the way it's supposed to be?). But this latest revelation, if proven, was the literal straw that broke the camel's back. Hopefully the difference between emails and instant messages will be explained so the Wash. Times can stop screaming for Hastert's resignation.

People in our District did not appreciate Mr. Kerry coming here and telling us what we need on behalf of the Dem. candidate. The transplanted NE limo libs didn't even like it, but the local farmers, ranchers, horse breeders, police, firepeople (PC, no?), and 'middle class' were really ticked off, plus no one wears navy wool blazers, flannel slacks and Topsiders (WITH SOCKS....yuckoo!!!) in So.Florida. Word has it that Ms. Pelosi is coming to tell us what we need, too. God help her if she does.<<
