Mish could also use the recommend function as a contrary indicator.

I personally enjoy the deflation-inflation debate. I prefer when it is intelligent and constructive. IMHO the perma-inflationists on this board have lately made it into a pissing contest/personal lynch on Mish.

That kind of discussion is IMO counter productive and will only serve to push the other side to take his insights elsewhere. Will it be really nicer to have a board where everybody thinks the same?

I vote to derecommend the recommend function.

So people like his one liners and I have pissed off more people than him over the years.

If you want to vote for John even though he constantly and purposely distorts my position, and now has resorted to personal attacks out of the blue, then be my guest.

It is exactly this kind of nonsense why Heinz no longer posts on SI. It really isn't worth it.
