Apple's Time Machine: Forward into the past?

Is this more control or less? Either way, this is the type of automation that I'd like off my hands and taken care of by the computer.

The point being the USER decides how safe or modified they want to be, not the software provider.

One really galling "feature" of Firefox are the constant warnings that pop out of the title bar. They warn you but unless you are a programmer no one understands the warnings and even if you did they give you few options.

I really REALLY wish I could turn it off, and even worse I KNOW it'll be in the next version.
