Then don't care about deflation -- and don't use the word. In my lifetime there has never been a period of deflation in the US -- and I don't expect there ever will be. I do think there is a risk of inflation really catching fire as we move forward -- and that concerns me personally as I make my own decisions and plans for the future. If all you focus is on the next moth or year, that is your call. You want to talk about short term price swings in the economy -- be my guest. Just don't enter some make believe world where you see deflation everywhere -- no deflation, no pink elephants. Lets stick to reality.
