Look that’s a bogus argument - Monica was well within the boundaries of adulthood. It was two consenting adults. Here’s where your argument blows up - this has been the Republican stance for years now - Republicans are guardian of morality - or so we thought. When it comes to their own power morals mean nothing. Thing is when it comes to Conservatives they have a strong ability to live in denial - it’s the nature of being Conservative. I mean they elected a guy who wimped out of Vietnam just because he talks tough. None of them would dream of going to war but they are the ones who strongly advocate it. None of these inconsistencies seem to matter to a lot of Americans so I wouldn't be surprised if this Foley thing blows over and the Republicans retain power.
