sudo rm -rf /*

Now that's an example of having some real power at the command line.

But then...
While Mac users must perform this function manually and with authentication, Windows users have automatic unfettered access to similar powerful function. Completely transparent- users don't even realize it is activated until it is, usually by those kind souls who don't want you to tire yourself by working so hard on your computer. The function is kindly performed for many Windows users at random intervals and without the need for that pesky authentication process that Apple uses. Or so it seems. This command (and equivalents) cleans up your harddisk and reduces your electric bill, proving the superiority of Windows OS.

{ps I'm joking abovethere - if you have any compulsion to try out the above command on your Mac, do this command first: man rm and read thoroughly. Same goes for you Linux and other variants of UNIX users}
