Hi Koan - Denison is probably a good way to go, the producers have, I think, not gotten as severe haircuts as the juniors over the past six months. However, I tend to focus on the smaller-cap companies, so my approach has been to accumulate a basket of them. Since there are something like 400 uranium companies now, one has to be discriminating with selections.

For myself, I have Strathmore at the core of the u-jr portfolio. Strathmore started acquiring properties a few years ago with the conviction that uranium would surpass $30/pound (they were correct). While they continue to add to their property portfolio, two of their New Mexico properties are now in the permitting process. So, while the company has great exploration upside (big chunk of the Athabasca, New Mexico, Wyoming, etc.), they also have defined resources that have started down the (long) path towards production.

I try to identify companies that have deep industry experience, a portfolio of properties in relatively secure areas of the world and cash. The ones that are currently in the stable are:

Cash Minerals
Concentric Energy (privately held, IPO in 1Q07)
Dejour Enterprises
Forum Uranium
Nova Uranium
Strathmore Minerals
Titan Uranium
Twenty-Seven Capital
Universal Uranium
Uranium Power Corp.

Most of the above have active drill programs, hopefully somebody will find something at some point. If I had to narrow it down to a few, I'd say Forum, Nova and Universal have pretty good odds. Forum and Nova are drilling now, Universal will start in a week or so. Wish me luck!
