The public isn't buying Bushie talking points anymore. 1) "Cut and run" - has been a huge failure because only 29% think Bush has handled Iraq like a sane person would. 2) Blaming Clinton - hasn't worked as Bill's approvals are twice what GW's are. 3) "We're the party of values" is a joke now. 4) "Democrats will raise your taxes" collapses as soon as Dems make clear only the top 1-2% will get taxes put back to Clinton era levels. Most Americans agree we need to balance our books and not spend more than we take in. Bush is the biggest deficit spender in the history of the human race. 5) Nancy Pelosi scare tactics - Most Americans trust Pelosi much more than they do Hastert, Delay or Boner. Besdies, Murtha will probably be the new majority leader.
