Speaking of 'fortune' lost and found. Today we went through the quick check out in Meijer's. As I prepared to load the small purchases I glanced at the return cash receptacle and there was money lying in it. I picked it up and found five $5.00 bills... just left. I showed it to the overseeing cashier and took it along to Lost and Found. They may have used a charge, asked for extra money and then just left without retrieving it. I hope someone remembers and claims it, but if not... my name is on it :) I also found out that they have cameras on every check out line. They can double check the area if someone does claim it to make sure they were going through as they said :)
