CB, I know what you wrote is the fashionable idea, but it's plain wrong. But your chances now of finding a good one are a LOT better now than 31,415 years ago when there was only one Adam in the crowd.... the rest of this rant is maybe irrelevant....no time to go through. Okay, I have had a quick review and it's mostly right. It's a probabilistic matter. Yes, you are right in that you can find an albino in Africa, but if you want to be more sure of finding a white one, head for Scandinavia. DNA is NOT spread uniformly across everyone, not now and not at any time, unless you get back to Adam and Eve when there was only one human [all the rest were selected out as NOT being human] ------------------------------------------------------------- Merely repeating that you can doesn't make it true. It's obviously not true as that's an argument that DNA is irrelevant to humans, which is silly, or you could bring up a baby chimp to be a rocket scientist. Which you can't. You can't even bring up many actual human children to be rocket scientists. It's not just a matter of culture. Their brains are simply not designed for the job. They don't have the DNA. I have just given lengthy explanation of why our DNA is vastly different from that of the chimpoids of only 10,000 years ago. I have even given you reasons and data as to when Adam and Eve were born [actually, I didn't get the Eve data - see GPS post]. Unlike in the religious fantasies, they weren't at the same time and they were not living in Eden. Eve was 170,000 years ago and Adam 34,159 years ago - Adam's birthday being determined by Mq [I think I deserve a Nobel Prize for that]. We are in fact the real people. All the blokes around at the same time as Adam died out, just leaving we the real people. All the sheilas around when Eve died have no descendants alive now, and Eve's are the only survivors. You have her mitochondria! That is so cool. So does Geode. I have Adam's Y chromosome. Mqurice PS: Actually, it's seems likely that Geode is a throwback [a line that survived through it all, like The Da Vinci Code secret bloodline, hidden away somewhere].
