Yes, colleges are dominated by left-wing profs. No, they probably won't brainwash your kids. This from a guy who writes about compassionate conservatism; an issue that died long ago right after Bush ignored the people of the Gulf states suffering from the aftereffects of Katrina. There is no such thing as compassionate conservatism........in fact, its an oxymoron: Mr. Brooks, a professor at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Public Affairs, is the author of "Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism," forthcoming in November from Basic Books. BTW most of my liberal friends who are pre and post 40 vote Dem., are well informed and are college educated. On the other hand, the GOPers who are educated tend to be poorly informed. What can I say? A college education is no guarantee of enlightenment.
