We are beyond Collapse, TEOTWAWKI is a fact. Reality shows that the Chinese will take the houses, cars, holidays, school for the children from the Americans to themselves. Capital spreading more evenly is a terrible thing! It creates conditions that no one envisaged before neither can be controlled once the forces are unleashed.

People will stick to the old ways because the old ways were comfortable if compared with the new ways. And they resent what they see. And they want it to go away. And they vainly fight against the tide. All fighting an already lost battle.

That status of thing must be accepted by all of us. Only by accepting that TEOTWAWKI has happened and this is the real world now. The one we knew is gone. Now we need to relax and see how we can live in such a world.

(ii) american jobs are being transformed, via fiat money inflation and officialdom business-unfriendly red tape, into chinese jobs

You make this sound like some great Chinese victory - setting up these mind numbing assembly lines where people spend long hours doing very simple manual labor. The owners of these factories sell these products at barely over cost. The American Right Wing do not have a clue making complaints. These jobs are not good for Americans. These jobs are inevitably going to be computerized - using robots or whatever.

Sure the American middle class are being temporarily hurt by this outsourcing. But, over the short to intermediate term, the American middle class will readjust and will be much better off for the future and be prepared for the jobs of the future.

Temporarily the outsourcing is great for the Chinese economy.

But the American middle class will really be the bigger beneficiary over the longer term.

Actually it is a win win situation.

my comment regarding above manifest facts is that we must enjoy the process, for it will stop, eventually

Okay.. I think we're beginning to understand one another a bit better..
