Mqurice's boe analysis of 31,416 years ago is actually the precise time; damn good boe analysis if I do say so myself, though I'm being a bit disingenuous in that I think my boe analysis was for ALL males, not just those out of Africa. I'll have to look further to see when Adam for those in Africa was born.

Since by far the great majority of males live outside Africa, I hereby claim near enough precision. If there was some bloke 30,000 years before that who fathered the rest of the Africans, it doesn't make a big difference to the total picture. World population of males 3 billion. African males 350 million [about a tenth of the total]. Adjusted for GDP per capita, Africa doesn't count.

I hereby claim a precise boe analysis.
