FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Not only will Daunte Culpepper not start against the New England Patriots today, he likely won't play at all.

According to the inactives report released in the Gillette Stadium press box, Joey Harrington will make his first start for the Dolphins. Culpepper, who has a bruised throwing shoulder, will be the third quarterback. That means he can only play if the team's first two quarterbacks are injured. Cleo Lemon will be the backup against the Patriots.

Neither Harrington nor Lemon has thrown a pass for the Dolphins in the regular season.

Harrington's last start came on Jan. 1 for the Detroit Lions against the Pittsburgh Steelers, when he completed 17-of-33 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns.

"I guess I was prepared for anything when I came in here," said Harrington, who was obtained from Detroit in May for a conditional draft choice. "That was what I said from the get-go. I came in here to play if they needed me to, and that hasn't changed."

So my son gave me the plague sometime last week. I'm white as a sheet and now we have to go throw the football

I know he's trying to kill me.

I should be ok....BETWEEN YAKKS

It didn't really looks so great with Harrington either.

Right now they don't have any QB that I can really have confidence in, but I think the biggest problem is their offensive line.

I did however miss most of the game this last weekend so my impressions are only from the last part of the game and the overall stats (esp. the turnovers) and watching previous games. There may have been something I missed that showed Harrington in a much better light, I doubt it but its possible.
