OK, I could have provided a better context for my question. I was thinking along the lines of measuring Einstein’s IQ while he was in college and accumulating these scores to evaluate GDPs versus IQs. You say it’s easy to measure IQs, but it would seem very hard to properly measure Einstein’s while he was still in college. It’s was probably much easier to measure Richard Feynman’s or Robert Oppenheimer’s before they became famous.

How does that theory work with East and West Germany, or North and South Korea?
