>>Does anyone know anything about AAPL stock this week.
Some guy over at Yahoo board is saying the stock will get killed this week starting tomorrow. I don't pay it much attention, when some basher starts grumbling. Is there anything to the "Jobs to face charges" bull??<<

Pax -

I'm not privy to any inside information, and don't know anything more than I read in the papers. But from what I can tell, there is a very very small chance that Jobs will face any kind of charges.

There's a hysterical guy on this thread, too, who doesn't see the differences between this situation and, say, what's happening at HP. He's also compared the Apple situation to Enron and Worldcome, but the kind of irregularities that Apple found and disclosed through their own investigation are not even close to being on the same scale or seriousness.

With earnings only nine days away, I'd be surprised to see much of a drop in AAPL this week. More likely to rise.

But I can't predict the future, so what do I know?
