First, you remove the plastic, shrink-wrap Safety Seal from the package.
Then, you have your pre-schooler open the cereal box along perforated 'dotted line'.
"..Voila..", pour the Rice Chex into a bowl, add some milk and sugar, and you're "..good to go.."!!!

ps: In more severe cases, have your grade-schooler remove the Child-Proof Safety Cap for you..!!!
