It might or it might not. The jury is still out.<<<

I am afraid that this is not something that can be decided by a jury. It's an economic inevitability.

Unless, of course, we raise taxes immediately by 50%; ration gasoline, butter, eggs, and every sort of commodity; and start paying down the debt.

How else can the debt be dealt with?

EDIT. There is always outright repudiation. Own any Czarist bonds?
