for an interesting take on energy and oil prices go to robtv.com

friday 10-6-06 12:30 pm segment with a gentleman who has been predicting energy prices for 6 decades. definitely worth a listen to. My synopisis is he predicts oil prices in the range of $55-$65 going forward barring disruptions. His take on Natural Gas is that January 06 was the warmest January in several decades, however the natural gas prduction is such that if the didnt find anymore in 2006 production would decline by a 1/3.

Paul, I'll follow you into BIOS. The stock seems to have found a bottom here around $2.50, plus all the reasons you mentioned. Just a starter position for me. We'll see how it behaves from here. Back to lurking.....

I'll take a few shares of apparent cigar butt ALLI here.

Seems to be categorized in the same sector as struggling BIOS (in which I am holding shares also):

finance.yahoo.com

ALLI shows a little profit. (But with the few years history I see, it's rare for ALLI to be profitable).
P/bk = .66
low total debt (according to Yahoo)
$1.4 cash/sh. on a $4 stock

BIOS. At current relatively high stock price, the numbers don't look so attractive to me. (Business prospects could be okay though; I don't know.)

I'll close position.
