So how do you explain that Supermicro was producing motherboards for Opterons for a long time (maybe a year?) before any mention of the product could be found on Supermicro's web site? The web pages with the Supermicro AMD boards existed, and could be found using Google, but there was no link to them from the Supermicro home page, and no mention of them produced by a search for "AMD" on the same home page?

Further, my recollection is that for a while Supermicro refused to publicly admit they were making the product. A new "stealth marketing" strategy perhaps?
