"News" reports at a minimum should have the basics. Remember the journalistic standard questions of Who, How, What, When, Where and Why? It certainly is unclear here how any of those questions were applied in this example from the overall article. Rather, this is a statement from someone who didn't tell us any facts, but instead gave us a statement with an agenda.
