His claim that even if the Democrats didn't do all they could have (they didn't), the Republicans did less. >as if they can't help being obstructionist 1st and Americans 2nd. I wish they were really obstructionists... if they had been, the Iraq War, the Patriot Act, and the egregious violations of the Geneva Convention wouldn't have happened. Unfortunately, most of them were enablers until fairly recently. Many of them continue to be. -Z

Who the fuck is obstructionist? You want us to sit on our hands for the next six years while you all figure out what to do with Iraq? It took the right nearly two years to figure out there was something wrong in Iraq........and now they don't know what to do about it other than to do nothing. How long do you think the right has to make a mess of things before we can object? Ten years? Twenty years? Fifty years?
