I just stated you can't own water. Never mind what the lawmakers say, you just can't own it.

You can own a house.

You can own a horse or a mule,

You can't own water though, except as stated. Any argument that you own a particular piece of water just evaporates.

If you say you own a particular piece of water in Canada, I would say actually I own it as it was in Scotland earlier, and we have been around longer as a country then Canada.
