How to beat YouTube by Yahoo, MySpace/News Corp, Microsoft, AOL ...?

Raise your streaming speed to 500 kbps or above to beat everyone's bandwidth-stingy and poor quality video that is still streaming at the speed about 100 kbps and make your Internet video quality comparable to a cable TV.

How to reach that goal without the sky-high cost for bandwidth consumption?

Buy a nationwide carrier.

LVLT will cost any one $11-12 billion with its incredible debts.

Google missed the opportunity to get Broadwing for free a year ago - and even get back some cash in addition - when BWNG's stock was worth only 3.5. With 50 million shares outstanding, BWNG's market cap was under $200 million and almost no debts. Considering BWNG's $1.2 billion tax loss credit to the buyer, the savings on tax alone was more than covering the purchase price.

Now BWNG is worth about $1 billion with $200 million cash in the bank. The tax loss forwarding credit is still available to the buyers. The end cost would be only about $500 million for the buyer - if the premium for LBO is not considered.
