JF, thanks for the post. I disagree with some major assumptions upon which Jimmy Carter bases his argument, but hey, it's good to know what he is thinking.

That's probably a bigger issue than their faux nuclear program, at least in present day terms.

In Florida, we have a huge Cuban population that is tough as nails with regard to Castro and the Cuban government. Although they are not as threatening, I wonder about the analogies. It doesn't seem that the US Korean community is as anti-NK.

Maybe there is no analogy. Just thinking out loud.
