I think zinc's old record was $1.71. I noticed zinc hit $1.72 and posted it here right after max did. Got this from SH:

"LME down another 1,000mt today and Zn closes at the highest price in 4 months. Highest close ever was 1.71 and we are a nickle away!
Will it hold or drop back into the very respectable trading range?
I think I will close my eyes and make a wish.... hmmmmm $2 zinc!
New reports showing zinc in a deficit in 2007. Interesting, by the time we get to 2007 LME will be damn near zero!

Also interesting that the USD is gathering a little strength. Looks like someone may think that the US recession may not be as significant as the talking heads have been saying. BTW, a weaker CD makes BWR more money!"

The zinc content is higher than 5% at MMGG. <g>

I added to GGC and GGN today. PF getting quite balanced. 6 stocks now. <g> Selling back and forth amongst the troops to align $$$ allocations.
