My goal is to keep as many dollars in my own possession as possible. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure I don't enrich the coffers of suicidal fanatics. I really need to do some serious research, with an emphasis on using as little fuel as possible to travel around. And I like the idea of buying American. Has any American car manufacturer built a decent hybrid? I do as much, or maybe a bit more, driving as anyone, and I'm sick of feeding the beast.
