JCP, I wasn't being totally serious when I talked about Bush's "soaring" ratings. That should be obvious, since no one but a fool would be proud to have approval ratings somewhere in the mid-40s.

However, the one question that the pollsters are not asking is this: Should Bush be impeached? (The closest I saw was "If Bush lied, should he be impeached," which is a cute conditional attached to the question.) You know what that tells me? Most of the country still doesn't want to see Bush impeached, or else it would make front-page headlines.
