"The Buffalo News is reporting that John McCain did a last minute cancellation of a fundraiser/appearance for Tom Reynolds:

In Buffalo, Erie County Republican Chairman James P. Domagalski reacted with surprise and and disappointment after he learned of McCain's move. The county Republican organization advertised McCain as the speaker in its mailers. He's a confirmed speaker," said Domagalski, referring to McCain. "We've sold 35 tables going on 50. No one has told me," he said.

In addition to speaking at the dinner, McCain was scheduled to lead a rally in Buffalo for embattled Rep. Thomas M. Reynolds, R-Clarence. McCain's office Tuesday scrubbed both events...

And poor Garrett in NJ's 5th had to move his scheduled fundraiser he's holding with Hastert, once Democrat Paul Aronsohn and the public found out about it:
U.S. Rep. Scott Garrett has moved the location of next week's political fundraiser featuring House Speaker Dennis Hastert after his Democratic opponent publicized the event's address...

"Mark Foley is a pedophile and a predator. Dennis Hastert knew it but did nothing about it. And now Scott Garrett wants to bring Hastert to our community to raise money?" Aronsohn said in a statement. "Needless to say, Garrett should exercise better judgment and immediately cancel the event."
