I joked about their incompetence in the Zenit launch - which in fact failed because 2 faulty computers outvoted the third, which knew what it was doing, so the dozen satellites crashed into Siberia. There wasn't a mooring rope left tied up. I don't think they have mooring ropes. I was just kidding sorry.

It was a sorry saga. Reading from a script, pretending it was a launch.

Globalstar LP involved a lot of bungling. The biggest being the high-priced minutes marketing plan [and high-priced handsets]. Giving greedy terrestrial service providers control of gateways was a mistake too. But they also damaged a bunch of satellites after launch when trying to correct a fault they had - burning new circuits in by remote control too quickly [or something like that]. Doing it slowly works. Doing it quickly wrecked them.
