Gann was very keyed in to Commodities probably because that's where the historical data was.

He researched Wheat....for example...back to the 1200's.

Ray,

Commodities by their nature a cyclical. When price rises that causes more supply to be produced. When price falls, producers switch to another commodity where they can make more money.
